The University Consortium Kyoto has established designated research topics for the purpose of contributing to the improvement and review of projects, as well as new development and sophistication, and conducts research by faculty and staff of the member schools of the Foundation. a) Theme
The Role of the University Consortium Kyoto in the Promotion of Recurrent Education in Kyoto
―Toward the Construction of the Kyoto Model-
b) Outline of research
The purpose of this study is to propose specific measures based on empirical research on the role played by the University Consortium Kyoto in order to build a recurrent education that contributes to solving the problems facing Kyoto by utilizing the research and educational resources of the 48 member universities. In addition to examining various forms of recurrent education that are suitable for the regional characteristics of Kyoto, we conducted a fact-finding survey on employment support for women who have interrupted their careers, training engineers in traditional industries, and recurrent education related to business succession of small and medium-sized enterprises.

(2) Theme 2: Kyoto Bunkyo University
a) Theme
Growth Tracking Survey of Graduates and Students of Various SD Training Programs and Systematic SD Training in the Future
b) Outline of research
Among the various types of SD training conducted by the University Consortium Kyoto, we will conduct a growth tracking survey of all graduates of the current SD seminar and the former university administrator training, which is the flagship training with the highest load in both quality and quantity, and verify the effectiveness of the training. By measuring the effectiveness of these programs and at the same time comparing them with similar programs nationwide, we will clarify their strengths and weaknesses and propose how to build a training system as a university consortium Kyoto SD project in the future.
