Campus Plaza Kyoto Facility Reservation for 2020 March 10 (Tue)

 

As previously announced, facility reservations after April 1 (Wednesday) will
be accepted from 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 as scheduled.
In light of the recent situation of the new coronavirus infection, we are considering reviewing the waiting method, so please respond in advance according to the instructions of the staff on the day.

* If you have a fever or other cold symptoms, please refrain from visiting.
* When visiting the museum, please keep in mind “cough etiquette” including wearing a mask.

Kyoto Student Public Relations Department presents Gion Kazuki University ~ Autumn Open Campus” will be held!

The Kyoto Student Public Relations Department, a collaborative project between the University Consortium Kyoto and Kyoto City, and Yoshimoto and Gion Kazuki collaborated.
On Friday, November 22nd, we will hold a student-planned event called “Kyoto Student Public Relations Department Presents Gion Hanazuki University”.
The venue, Gion Hanazuki, will be set as a “classroom” at the university and the audience will be “high school students”, and through the performances of comedians and a corner where comedians experience and practice the “ima” of students, we will convey the unique charm of “University Town Kyoto and Student Town Kyoto” to young people who love comedy nationwide!

In addition, from mid-November to early December, in the lobby of Yoshimoto Gion Hanazuki, art circles from each university exhibit paintings on the themes of “Kyoto” and “Comedy,” introduce the activities of student groups engaged in community collaboration activities that contribute to the SDGs, and raise awareness of the SDGs.
If you like comedy or if you are a junior high or high school student who is considering going to a university in Kyoto, please come and visit us!

Campus Plaza Kyoto Revision of Usage Fees [Confirmed]

 

From October 1, 2019, the consumption tax rate will be raised %から10%.
Due to the revision of the usage fee of Campus Plaza Kyoto, the “Kyoto City University Town Exchange Center Ordinance”

【For Students】We will hold a cover design contest for the “University Town Kyoto / Student Town Kyoto Promotion Plan 2019-2023”!

In order to improve the attractiveness of “Kyoto City of Universities and Kyoto City of Students,” Kyoto City has been steadily promoting the measures of the “Kyoto City of Universities and Students’ Town Kyoto Promotion Plan 2014-2018,” which was formulated in collaboration with the University Consortium Kyoto in the 2018 academic year. Since this is the final year of this plan, we will formulate the “University Town Kyoto and Student City Kyoto Promotion Plan 2019-2023” as a guideline for new university policies to become “University City Kyoto and Student City Kyoto” in light of changes in the social situation surrounding universities and students.
In order to make this plan widely known to students, we are looking for cover designs for this plan booklet.

Specifications of the work

○ Please design it vertically in A4 size (210 mm × 297 mm).
○ Art materials are free. Illustrations, photographs, etc., do not matter how you express yourself.

What should be on the cover

The following language must be included in the design:

○ Nickname

* The nickname will be decided after the application period ends, so please write “○○○○○” in the design and secure space for the nickname. (The nickname of the current plan is “University, Town, and Student Plans.”) ）

○ You can apply as many items as you like per person or group.
○ Entries must be unpublished and original.
○ Participation is free of charge. However, please bear the postage fee at the time of application.

Notification of Examination Results

Winners and representatives of the winning groups will be contacted in mid-February (tentative).

About the Best Films

  • All materials must be safe under copyright law.
  • If a person appears, please be sure to obtain the consent of the person in advance so that there are no problems with unauthorized use of personal information or portrait rights. In the case of photographs, please obtain permission from the rights holder in advance for buildings, signboards, shops, companies, etc., as well as copyrighted works (works of art, posters, etc.) that are reflected in the background.
  • All rights to the award-winning works belong to Kyoto City and the University Consortium Kyoto. Entrants shall not exercise their rights based on the moral rights of the author with respect to the submitted work.
  • If the work is deemed to be plagiarized, imitated, not self-made, or has already been published, or if there is a false declaration in the entry form, the prize will be canceled even after the award has been decided. In addition, the applicant shall compensate for any damage caused by the cancellation of the award.
  • In the event that a third party claims infringement of rights or compensation for damages in relation to the submitted work, the winner shall be responsible for resolving the matter at his or her own risk, and the City of Kyoto and the University Consortium Kyoto shall not be liable for any such claims.
  • All costs incurred by mail, etc., will be borne by the applicant, and the submitted work will not be returned.
