Report on the 2nd Kyoto FD Exchange Meeting

The 2nd Kyoto FD Exchange Meeting was held on November 13th.

The main theme of this second session was “Thinking about the level of achievement of learning,” and Ryuko Sato, a member of the Kyoto FD Planning and Research Committee, a university consortium, gave a talk on “Achievement of Learning” and then interacted with the participants. In the individual work, the participants wrote down their subjects, the status of their university’s efforts, and problems on a worksheet, and based on these information, they shared them with the group, and then shared them with the whole group to exchange opinions.

On the day of the event, 23 university faculty members and staff members participated. In the participant questionnaire after the event, 100% of the respondents answered “satisfied” or “somewhat satisfied,” which was the same as the first previous time. Participants commented, “I was able to get hints that can be used in tomorrow’s initiatives” and “I was able to learn a lot about other universities’ efforts and what other universities are struggling with.”
