“How to get a Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research – Points to consider when preparing an application form”

The “FDJoint Training Program and Thematic Training” is aimed at new faculty members, teachers who want to relearn the basics of FD, teachers who are interested in FD, and staff working in FD-related departments. This is a small-group training program aimed at acquiring skills and knowledge such as. A total of four meetings will be held in FY2024.
This year’s 4th meeting will be held under the theme of “How to Obtain Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research: Points for Preparing Application Forms” as follows.

Session 4: How to Obtain Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research – Points for Preparing an Application Form –
Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research are the most representative competitive research funds in Japan. Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research play an extremely important role for researchers, as they aim to advance research based on the free ideas of researchers. However, it is not easy to be adopted. In this training, a lecturer who has not only been accepted for Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research but also has experience as a member of the review committee will give a lecture on what kind of application form should be prepared in order to be accepted into the Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research. In addition, we would like to use the Q&A session and the exchange of information among the participants as an opportunity to gain clues for the adoption of Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research.
