“National University Consortium Case Studies” has been published!

National University Consortium Case Study

In March 2015, the National Council of University Consortiums published the “National University Consortium Case Studies,” which summarizes the examples of efforts by each of the council’s member organizations.
In order to make the efforts of the University Consortium nationwide widely known to the higher education institutions and local governments that are members of each consortium, we have featured 10 examples of pioneering initiatives nationwide in the topics on the front page of the book, and introduced the organizations and initiatives of all 45 member organizations. Please take a look at examples of initiatives and advanced cases from all over the country.

The results of the analysis of the 26th “Citizen Life Realization Survey” have been announced!

　
We will publish the results of the analysis of the “Citizen Life Perception Survey” conducted as part of the “Future Kyoto Creation Research Project” jointly implemented by the University Consortium Kyoto and Kyoto City.
　
As part of the Kyoto City Policy Evaluation System, the “Survey on Citizens’ Perceptions of Citizens’ Lives” is conducted to grasp the extent to which the policies and measures listed in the city’s basic plan are being achieved. It can be used by those who are engaged in community development activities.

On this page, the data is summarized in a booklet with a summary of the analysis results, and the details are posted as a reference edition.

As in previous years, the results of the survey on the perception of life by generation, gender, and residence for all 130 items in all 27 policy areas, the results of the survey on the importance of policies in all 27 policy areas, and the correlation between the perception of life and the importance of the policy are posted.

Heisei 27 “Gakumachi Collaboration Project” Recruitment Notice

Kyoto City and the University Consortium Kyoto are implementing the “University Regional Collaboration Creation and Support Project (nicknamed the Gakumachi Collaboration Project)” to support the efforts by granting support funds to projects and projects that work on urban development and regional revitalization in Kyoto through “collaboration” between universities, students, and local communities.
This year marks the 12th year of the program, with the aim of developing human resources by securing practical education and research opportunities for universities, and for local communities to solve local issues and revitalize them through the knowledge of the university and the vitality of students.
We are pleased to announce that we will start recruiting for the 27th academic year, so please check the following guidelines before applying.

Target Businesses

(1) For the purpose of solving local issues and revitalizing the city of Kyoto
(2) Implemented in Kyoto City during the 27th fiscal year (from the date of adoption to the end of March of the following year)
(3) Organizations and groups that are coordinated and collaborated with universities and student groups and local communities (residents’ organizations, civic activity groups, businesses, etc., mainly in the Kyoto City area) (in particular, those in which students take the initiative in their activities)

“Development and Implementation of Effective Study Abroad Programs” Lecture and Report on Achievements [Call for Participation, Free]

On Saturday, March 28, at Campus Plaza Kyoto, we will hold a lecture and a report on the results of the “Heisei 26 Study Abroad Dispatch Program Development Support Project,” which is a joint project between Kyoto City and the University Consortium Kyoto, and “Development and Practice of Effective Study Abroad Programs” (concurrently: Heisei 27 Grant Project Recruitment Briefing).

This time, we will invite guests from the front lines who plan unique study abroad programs to talk about useful development and management based on practical talks.
In addition, we will explain the recruitment of support projects for the next fiscal year, report on the results of the programs implemented in various countries so far (posters), and provide a small opportunity for related parties to interact (questions are also possible).

<h3>京都銭湯芸術祭2015</h3> 今年度、「京都の銭湯にはまだ見ぬ魅力が隠れている…！」と、歴史と文化の都・京都において、銭湯を舞台にした新しく誕生したのが京都銭湯芸術祭実行委員会の企画する京都銭湯芸術祭です。 2014年度の活動は2014年9月27日（土）～10月26日（日）の期間中、京都市北区・上京区にある銭湯8店舗において、さまざまなアーティストによる作品展示を行うほか、「湯沸し会議」と題したイベント＆ワークショップを何度も開催し、京都に数多くある銭湯とアーティストの力を各銭湯の特色に沿った作品を作り展示することでつなぎ、入湯者の増加と交流が行われました。 環境セミナーでは、女猟師の鹿取さんをお招きし、「美山町での鹿害とそれへの取り組み」テーマに、環境問題を考えます。 また料理講習会では、鹿肉料理研究家の「愛deer料理教室」代表林先生をお招きし、実際に鹿肉を使ってお料理をします。今回のメニューは鹿肉と野菜を使ったヘルシーでおいしいレシピで、『もも肉の照り焼きバーガー』と『鹿つみれスープ』です。 京都経済短大の学生グループが活動を展開する「地域と大学の共生プロジェクト」の報告が届きましたのでご紹介します。 「地域と大学の共生プロジェクト」では、地域と大学（学生）がコラボし、高齢者の「居場所づくり」や人と人との「繋がりづくり」を目的とした取り組みが継続的に行われています。 <h3>嵐山アートプロジェクト2014　“嵐山、ジャックしてみた。”</h3> 京都嵯峨芸術大学芸術学部デザイン学科観光デザイン系の学生が中心となり企画する「嵐山アートプロジェクト」の新着情報が届きましたのでご紹介します。 「嵐山アートプロジェクト」では9月13日（土）～23日（火）の10日間、通称“嵐電”の名称で知られる京福電気鉄道をジャックし、嵐山駅や電車内を学生らが制作した芸術作品で彩りことで、まるで美術館のようにするプロジェクトが展開されました。 9月6日（土）今年度学まちコラボ事業採択団体である龍谷大学学生団体「京まちや七彩コミュニティ」と「都ライト」がコラボし、龍谷大学深草町家キャンパスにおいて開催されたイベントに参加してきました。 今回の企画は昨年度も認定事業だった2つの団体が昨年度の報告会で出会い、その後交流を深め、実現したものです。 当日は大雨にも関わらず、お化け屋敷を楽しみに訪れる親子連れの姿がたくさん見られました。参加者は自分でデザインし作成した行灯を持ち、暗闇にかくれたおばけを探しに町家を探検。参加者からは楽しかった！また訪れたい！との感想も多く寄せられました。 また会場では、「都ライト」による写真展や“まちのステキなもので町家を照らそう！！”と、参加者にあなたのまちのステキな場所や人、お店、ものなどを聞くコーナーを設けるなど、様々な企画が行われました。 8月30日（土）京都造形芸術大学の学生プロジェクトチームが活動する団体、「まか通」のイベントに参加してきました。今回、東山区の若宮八幡宮で行われたのは、「鍾馗祭」という祭礼です。 ここでは、6月のワークショップで作製された24体の新しい鍾馗さんが並べられ、鍾馗神社の御神体と共にお祓いの儀式が執り行われました。 On Tuesday, March 17th, we will hold a “Future Kyoto Creative Research Project Achievement Report Meeting and Exchange Meeting”! [*Finished]

In order to utilize the accumulation of “knowledge” of “Kyoto City of Universities” and create policies for the creation of the future of Kyoto, we will hold a report meeting and exchange meeting on the results of the “Future Kyoto Creation Research Project,” which is being conducted in cooperation with university researchers and the department in charge of Kyoto City!
In addition to widely disseminating the results of the six surveys and research projects adopted in the Heisei 26 academic year, the purpose is to promote exchanges between researchers beyond the boundaries of universities and laboratories, and between researchers and citizens, students, government officials, etc.
By seeing the latest research results applied to the community, you will surely have the opportunity to be stimulated by your own research and learning, and to get hints for improving the region. Join us!
