The 2019 Foundation-designated research project report meeting was held

On March 3, 2020, we held a meeting to report on the research results of the 2019 University Consortium Kyoto Foundation. Twenty-five years have passed since the foundation was founded, and the social situation surrounding the foundation and the university has changed significantly. Therefore, with the aim of contributing to the review and improvement of projects, new development and sophistication, and the provision of information to Foundation member schools, the Foundation has established designated research topics since fiscal 2015 and has been conducting research by researchers in specialized fields.

In FY2019, research groups on two themes were selected, and their research activities and research results over the past year were presented.
At the debriefing session, visitors listened with great interest to the research on themes such as recurrent education and SD, which are emphasized in higher education in recent years, and there was a lively question-and-answer session

Theme 1) The Role of the University Consortium Kyoto in the Promotion of Recurrent Education in Kyoto: Toward the Establishment of the Kyoto Model
Principal Investigator: Eiko Takeyasu, Vice President and Director, Center for Regional Collaborative Research, Kyoto Women’s University

Theme 2) Tracking the growth of graduates and trainees of various SD training programs and how to systematically train them in the future
Principal Investigator: Kyoto Bunkyo University, Director of Educational Planning Division, Takamichi Murayama

In the future, we plan to publish the report on the results of the survey on the Foundation’s website or in a booklet around July 2020.
