“Easy Japanese” seminar that is easy for Japan to understand

Content: “Easy Japanese necessary in an emergency in the event of a disaster for foreigners studying and working in Kyoto”

“Easy Japanese” is based on the lessons learned from the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995 to smoothly convey information to foreigners.
It is a Japanese expression method that translates into simple Japanese.
In this training, we will give you an overview of “Easy Japanese” and its basic rules, as well as how foreigners can learn about disasters and corona disasters.
Learn about common situations.
It can be used not only in emergency communication with international students and foreign employees, but also in daily life.
Students will learn how to communicate “Easy Japanese” through group work and practical activities.
Lecturer: “Easy Japanese” volunteer group Atsuko Sugimoto
Target: Faculty and staff members of the International Student Study Kyoto Network member schools and organizations
Capacity: 40 people * Reception on a first-come, first-served basis
