【For Students】6/29 (Sat) Call for Participants for “TOEFL iBT® Test Online Skill Improvement Seminar”

Continuing from last year, the University Consortium Kyoto will hold the “TOEFL iBT® Test Online Skill Improvement Seminar” by ETS-certified trainers for university students who belong to member universities of the University Consortium Kyoto.

If you are planning to study or take the TOEFL iBT® test for future study abroad, or if you have taken the test and want to further improve your score, please join us!
* This year, the event will be held online using Zoom, so you can participate from home.

The TOEFL iBT® test is one of the world’s most successful tests designed to measure the proficiency of non-native English speakers. It comprehensively measures the four skills of reading, listening, speaking, and writing.
TOEFL iBT® test scores are widely used by more than 11,500 universities, graduate schools, and educational institutions in 160 countries around the world for study abroad and entrance examinations.
In this seminar, ETS certified trainers will explain not only the basics of the TOEFL iBT® test, but also more effective ways to study to improve your score, using past questions.

* Please prepare an Internet environment that can access the online course and a computer with a camera and microphone function, and access from a convenient location.

Target:

Students enrolled in a member university of the University Consortium Kyoto who fall under the following categories:

・Those who are studying for or planning to take the TOEFL iBT® test
・ Those who have taken the exam and aim to further improve their score

Capacity:

50 (first-come, first-served basis)
* Please note that it will be closed as soon as the capacity is reached.

Contents:

– Introduction of questions specific to the TOEFL iBT® test
– Preparation for TOEFL iBT® Test Section 4 (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing)
・Introduction of effective learning methods and teaching materials
*Lectures will be conducted in Japanese.
