KyoTomorrowAcademy=KTA is a community where all Mr./Ms. international students studying in Kyoto can participate and think about finding a job and career, and experience various programs.

In this community

・Company tours
・Cultural experience × corporate research
・Job hunting seminars
・Exchange meetings with international students from other universities, Japan students, and companies
・Business Japanese classes, Japanese conversation groups

With the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, we operate these programs (free of charge).

In preparation for the 2017 academic year, we will hold an orientation for international students who are interested in KTA’s activities!

Guidelines for Proposals for the Implementation of a Short-Term Study Abroad Program to Experience the Charm of “University City Kyoto”

Kyoto City and the University Consortium Kyoto have been inviting overseas students interested in studying in Japan to Kyoto since the 27th academic year, and have been conducting a two-week acceptance program twice a year (summer and winter) that combines distinctive lectures by various universities, Kyoto experiences, and exchanges with Japan students. 【TOEFL iBT】 TOEFL iBT Test Beginner’s Seminar will be held on Sunday, July 3rd!


We are pleased to announce that we will hold a free one-day TOEFL iBT test score improvement seminar for students from member universities.

Following the score improvement seminar held at the end of last year, CIEE, the TOEFL test office in Japan, and the University Consortium Kyoto will hold a preparatory seminar by ETS-certified trainers for university students who are thinking of taking the TOEFL iBT test (limited to students belonging to member universities of the University Consortium Kyoto).
This is a seminar for beginners, so if you want to know how to study and prepare for this summer, please join us.

There is no participation fee, and we will distribute the “TOEFL Test Prep Planner” prepared by ETS as a reference for preparing for the exam. Please note that it will be closed as soon as the capacity is reached.

Kyoto City and the University Consortium Kyoto will jointly provide up to 300,000 yen in development support for the development of study abroad programs provided to students by the entities (departments, laboratories, and seminars) that implement study abroad programs at member universities, junior colleges, and graduate schools of the Consortium of Universities Kyoto.

“Development and Implementation of Effective Study Abroad Programs” Lecture and Report on Achievements [Call for Participation, Free]


On Saturday, March 28, at Campus Plaza Kyoto, we will hold a lecture and a report on the results of the “Heisei 26 Study Abroad Dispatch Program Development Support Project,” which is a joint project between Kyoto City and the University Consortium Kyoto, and “Development and Practice of Effective Study Abroad Programs” (concurrently: Heisei 27 Grant Project Recruitment Briefing).

This time, we will invite guests from the front lines who plan unique study abroad programs to talk about useful development and management based on practical talks.
In addition, we will explain the recruitment of support projects for the next fiscal year, report on the results of the programs implemented in various countries so far (posters), and provide a small opportunity for related parties to interact (questions are also possible).
We are looking forward to the participation of a wide range of people, including university faculty and staff, who are interested in planning to study abroad.
