【Finished】Kyoto Student Public Relations Department Video Contest Award Ceremony and Networking Event
“FOCUS on KYOTO: Draw the moment when you are attracted to Kyoto! University Student Movie Contest” and solicited works from university students from member schools.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the many students who applied.
Details of the award ceremony and networking event are as follows.
- Date & Time: Saturday, February 22, 2025, 13:30-16:30
- Venue: Campus Plaza Kyoto 4th Floor, Lecture Room 3
- Admission: Free, registration required
On the day of the event, the entries were screened and the judges gave comments.
The grand prize was awarded to Ritsumeikan University’s Izumi Satomi’s “Kyoto Makes Me, Looking Down, Hen,” and a cash prize of 50,000 yen was awarded.
The Yasuda Director’s Award (Special Award) was awarded to Mai Takase of Kyoto City University of Arts’ “Let’s get to know Kyoto!”
The exchange event held after the award ceremony was hosted by NHK announcer Saki and was titled “Tell me, Director Yasuda,” and was a valuable opportunity for applicants and students who are interested in film to have a direct dialogue with Director Yasuda.
From now on, the creative works of the students will be presented through the Kyoto Student Public Relations Department Kotokare (https://kotocollege.jp/).
