2016 Main Visual Announcement of Competition Results

Continuing from last year, we solicited students for the “main visual,” which will be the unified image of the 14th Kyoto Student Festival, and received 46 submissions. As a result of the careful selection, the main visual for this year has been decided, and we are pleased to announce it. In the future, we will use it in posters and pamphlets that will serve as PR for the Kyoto Student Festival.

Main Visual Grand Prize (2016 Adopted Design)

It looks a little stiff, but it is a high-quality design that shows that it was carefully made over time.

■Executive Committee Chairperson’s CommentI
felt that this work was a powerful representation of the students, which is perfect for this year’s theme of “Students’ Challenge to the Four Great Festivals in Kyoto.” I would like to create a shining image of this kind of student festival as a student festival.

* It is mainly installed in schools, shops, and public facilities in Kyoto City.

• Poster (3,500 copies of A2 poster, 11,000 copies of B3 Kyoto City publicity edition)
• Flyer (125,000 copies of A4 size, 45,000 copies of A6 size)
• Official Mini Fan (40,000 copies)
• Executive committee members, short-term volunteer staff wearing T-shirts, etc.

It’s a little disappointing that you can’t expand the image as a design because it contains text, but it is an easy-to-use design that contains many elements of a student festival.

It is loose in a good way, and it is a design that expands the image when you look at it.
