As an activity for the 2023 academic year, the Kyoto Student Public Relations Department has planned a “Heian Jingu Photo Session” where photography-loving university students attending universities in Kyoto can interact.
In this event, you can enter the Heian Jingu Shrine Shrine for free, which usually costs an entrance fee.
On the day of the event, after taking a photo in the temple grounds, we will share the photos taken in the hall and vote for the best photo.

Participants who take the selected photos will receive a commemorative gift from Mr./Ms. Heian Jingu Shrine.

“Business English Literacy: Cross-Cultural Understanding and English Communication in Universities“

This course is mainly for faculty and staff who are involved in international education-related work and international student acceptance work at universities.
Mannerisms and ways of communicating vary greatly from culture to culture. In this course, in order to respond to the increase in the number of international students and foreign researchers, cultural diversity, communication styles,Deepen your understanding of business etiquette.
Through role-play and PBL (problem-solving exercises) in various settings, we aim to improve communication skills in English.

“Active Learning Exercises: Teaching Methods for Subjects Using English for Remote Learning”

This is an English course for university faculty members who are teaching specialized subjects mainly in English and who are planning to teach them in the future.
Students will learn how to facilitate and give instructions in English classes through role-playing. It will be a participant-led “exercise-type” course that will be utilized for interactive classes and flipped classrooms using ICT.
*The language used in the course is English.
