The “Kyoto High School Teacher Exchange Meeting” is a place where people who transcend the boundaries of schools and their founders can share their ideas and concerns about school and homeroom management, class improvement, etc., and interact with each other to solve problems.

The 10th meeting will be held as follows.

In recent years, terms and concepts such as active learning, proactive, interactive, and deep learning, inquiry, and synthesis have been presented in search of a better way of learning, and specific ways of doing so are being explored.
This time, as a basic part of learner-centered question-making, we will provide an opportunity for participants to create questions and engage in dialogue with each other about “better learning” through a question-making method experience workshop such as QFT (Question Formulation Technique).
We would like you to conduct a meta-analysis of the learning effects of each process and facilitation of QFT, and obtain a concrete image and action plan for using it in your school’s organizational development and classroom practice.

About the “Fostering Social Work Professional Course” ~Human Resource Development for Foster Care Support~

This course has been held since 2019 with the support of the Japan Foundation for current social workers at child guidance centers and private foster parent support organizations involved in foster parent support at the Ritsumeikan University Human Science Research Institute. The main purpose of the program is to develop leaders, and the structure is 30% classroom lectures and 70% group work, and students learn from each other at the center of learning. Business Overview

As the globalization of higher education accelerates, such as the enhancement of support for international students and the promotion of collaborative projects with overseas universities, the English proficiency of university faculty and staff has become indispensable as a basic ability.
In addition, international students from many countries and regions have their own cultural backgrounds, and in order to communicate smoothly, it is essential to understand customs, social norms, religions, etc. beyond language.

This year marks the fourth year of the Kyoto High School Teacher Exchange Meeting. In order to provide a place for students to share their ideas and concerns about school and homeroom management and class improvement, and to interact with them to solve them, we have held them on themes that meet the needs of high schools.
