University Consortium Kyoto 2023 Project Implementation Report Meeting

Since its establishment in 1994, the University Consortium Kyoto has developed diverse, advanced, and challenging projects in close collaboration with member universities and junior colleges , local communities, industry, the business community, and local governments as the first university consortium organization in Japan and a platform for university and regional collaboration. Currently, we are diligently promoting our business based on the Fifth Stage Plan, which is a five-year medium-term plan from FY2019 to FY2023.
We will hold the following “Project Implementation Report Meeting” to report on the main projects implemented in FY2023 by each business division. We will also provide an overview of the Sixth Stage Plan, which will begin in fiscal 2024.
It will be held at the end of the fiscal year, and we look forward to your participation.

[Recruitment of host companies! ] 2026 Internship Work Experience Program for International Students



The International Student Study Kyoto Network (Secretariat: University Consortium Kyoto International Affairs Department) offers an internship and work experience program for international students with the aim of helping international students learn about the appeal of working at companies in Kyoto, and to help them find employment and settle in Kyoto.

We are looking for host companies and organizations that can accept international students in this program. Companies and organizations that are already working to recruit international students, as well as companies and organizations that are considering hiring international students for the future, are encouraged to consider participating in this program.

[Point! ] 】
●By accepting international students…
・Having diverse human resources in the workplace will lead to revitalization within the company.
・This will lead to the accumulation of experience in accepting foreign employees.
・It will lead to PR for international students.
●We will hold a program briefing session (online). You can understand the program overview and the benefits of having foreign human resources in your workplace before applying.
●The number of days of practical training is 2~10 days. We support a variety of practical training contents.
●If you are already planning to implement your company’s work experience program, it is okay to have international students participate in your existing program.
●In June, a place will be set up for exchange between host companies and organizations and participating international students, and the management side and international students will conduct interviews to select and match them, and at that time, they will decide whether or not to accept them, and the accepting students will be decided.
●Before the training, we will provide preliminary training to international students on business etiquette and compliance.

In the fourth session, we will have a gagaku (musical instrument and costume) experience.

The 28th Kyoto International Student Film Festival Pre-event “Shoji” will be held!


This year marks the 28th anniversary of the “Kyoto International Student Film Festival” pre-event event!
