Implementation Report
Reiwa 6th Presentation Screening Committee (Second Selection)
On Sunday, June 30, the second selection meeting (presentation judging meeting) of the Reiwa 6th academic year Gakumachi Collaboration Project was held at Campus Plaza Kyoto.
The 14 organizations that presented their work (2 declined) expressed their enthusiasm for the project and how to promote cooperation with the local community.
This year, there were seven new businesses, and the atmosphere of the judging meeting was different from last year’s, including presentations with plays.
The judges asked questions that were sometimes tough but full of expectations, and I was impressed by the students’ desperate answers despite their struggles.

Reiwa 6th Fiscal Year Certification Ceremony and Exchange Meeting
On Saturday, July 20, a certification ceremony was held at Campus Plaza Kyoto for the Reiwa 6th Academic Town Collaboration Project, and the Mayor of Kyoto Matsui issued certificates to the 12 organizations selected this year.
The mayor sent words of encouragement, saying, “I sincerely hope that through this project, many of you will become involved in society and become human resources who will fulfill both your livelihood and duties in the city of Kyoto.”
After the certification ceremony, the selection committee members gave advice and impressions to each organization, and I think they got good advice and hints for their future activities.
Finally, we held a networking event.
I think it was a good opportunity for organizations with the same goals to get to know each other.
I hope that in future activities, the horizontal connection will expand from here.
From now on, the activities of each organization will begin in earnest.
We will also be announcing it on the website of the University Consortium Kyoto and the university/regional collaboration portal site “GAKUMACHI STATION”, so please keep an eye out!

Achievement debriefing session
《Debriefing Session》
On Thursday, March 20, Reiwa 7, a report on the activities of the 12 organizations adopted for the 6th year of Reiwa was held at Campus Plaza Kyoto, and about 65 people, including selected organizations and general audiences, participated.
In the 8-minute allotted time, each organization gave a presentation on the results of this year’s activities with photos and videos, and made presentations on cooperation with the local community, appealing the results, and issues through the activities.
In addition, each organization responded sincerely to various opinions and questions from the judges.
Participants were asked to write their impressions and opinions on sticky notes and put them on a message board, so that they could see their real impressions and opinions on the spot, and the participants eagerly read the comments.

《Opinion Exchange Meeting》
The exchange meeting was held with about 8 people divided into groups of about 8 people at a round table. In the first 15 minutes, the participants presented what they had learned through the Gakumachi Collaboration Project and specific episodes that led to their learning, and in the second 15 minutes, they gave presentations on the “charms of the region” that they found through the Gakumachi Collaboration Project, followed by questions and exchanges of opinions.
Since there is no contact between other organizations while doing similar activities, it was a valuable place to hear about the real status of activities, and conversely, it was a place to receive opinions, so it was a fruitful time for the participants, and a friendly atmosphere was created at all the round tables.

《Award Ceremony and Commentary》
Every year, we recognize the business organizations that have achieved the most excellent results and present 100,000 yen as an activity incentive. As a result of the judging, the “BORDER! Executive Committee,” which held an event in the Demachi Masugata shopping street where people could experience art in depth, was selected as the best organization of the year.
The award was given in recognition of the fact that it has deeply collaborated with local shopping streets and revitalized the area through collaboration between art × shopping streets.
