Outline of the event

1. Purpose
Participants will be given topics about the status of special needs education based on cases seen in high schools and universities, and then a roundtable discussion will be held for each group. In addition, as a faculty member of the university, we aim to make it a meaningful meeting for both parties as an opportunity to learn about problems such as support and career guidance at high schools, etc., and requests for universities.

Campus Plaza Kyoto [2nd Floor, Conference Room 2] (939 Higashi-Shiokoji-cho, Nishitoin-dori, Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto)

4. Eligibility
(1) Teachers working at high schools in Kyoto Prefecture
(Full-time, part-time, and special needs schools do not matter.)
(2) Faculty and staff of the University Consortium Kyoto member universities

5. Capacity
(1) 40 people (first-come, first-served basis)
(2) 10~15 students (5 universities or more)

≪Contents≫
It has been more than 10 years since special needs education began. In addition, due to the diversification of society, the number of infants, children, students, and students with diverse backgrounds and needs who require special consideration is increasing. I would like to consider the case studies (virtual) seen in high schools and universities from the perspective of special needs education.

Group discussion (90 minutes) 45 minutes × 2 times

You will be divided into small groups and have a discussion. Teachers of high schools and other institutions should be prepared to answer questions about issues and questions about support for students with disabilities in various aspects such as learning, life, and career paths. Faculty and staff of universities will be asked to introduce the status of efforts to support students with disabilities at each university, and to answer questions and other questions from faculty members of high schools and other institutions, and to exchange information and exchanges.
