Business Overview
In order to contribute to the resolution of issues faced by each school and the improvement of education, we launched the “High School and University Faculty and University Teacher Exchange Program” in 2018 with the aim of sharing ideas and concerns about school and homeroom management, class improvement, etc., and interacting with each other to solve them.

OverviewThis | is an opportunity for high school teachers and university faculty and staff to interact and exchange opinions and share information on high school-university collaboration from various perspectives such as how to run the cycle of inquiry in the time of comprehensive inquiry, assignment setting, presentation methods, evaluation, return to subject learning, career education, student transformation, and school organizational development. |

ThemeInquiry-based | learning in high school will be examined from the narratives of university students, working adults, and high school teachers, and how the experience of inquiry-based learning in high school affects students’ learning and career development at university. |
OverviewWe | invite university students, working adults, and high school teachers who went on to university after exploratory learning in high school, and give case studies on “what they learned in inquiry-based learning in high school, how they used it to go on to university, their subsequent career development, and the accompaniment of teachers.” Based on this, we will discuss the issues that high school teachers and university faculty and staff think about, deepen exchanges, and think about the connection between high schools and universities based on “inquiry.” |

Implementation Report
The 17th Symposium
On July 8, (Saturday), the conference was held in a high-Buri format under the theme of “Students and faculty and staff who have grown significantly through the reform of the inquiry curriculum: What will the deepening of inquiry bring?”
There were a total of 19 participants, 8 at the venue and 11 online, and Mr. Noriaki Ishida, a teacher at Miyazu Gakusha at Miyazu Tenbashi High School in Kyoto Prefecture, reported on the case. Through the question-and-answer session and the exchange of opinions, the participants were able to deepen their interaction with each other and with the case presenters. In particular, the participation of university faculty and staff increased, indicating a high level of interest.
The 18th Symposium
On February 3, (Saturday), we gave a case study report on career development from the standpoint of university students, working adults, and high school teachers, who graduated from high school after experiencing inquiry, and who graduated from high school after experiencing inquiry.
A total of 15 people participated, including high school and university faculty and staff from inside and outside Kyoto Prefecture, 9 at the venue and 6 online. There were also questions from the participants, and I was able to deepen my understanding of the learnings and realizations that I gained from the experience of inquiry-based learning. For face-to-face participants, it was also an opportunity for casual interaction through business card exchange and dialogue before and after the opening and closing.
