Thinking about the “expertise” of university staff

As society becomes increasingly complex and sophisticated, the roles required of university staff are becoming more important, and it is becoming necessary to reconsider the “expertise” of university staff.
The expertise of university staff has been discussed by the Central Council of Education, but the current situation has not been resolved. There are a variety of keywords for discussion, such as highly skilled professionals such as URA (University Research Administrator), expertise (ability) in departments such as human resources, finance, public relations, etc., administrators, etc., and the conclusion differs depending on which perspective you think about.
In this SD Forum, we will discuss with the participants what it means to have expertise in university staff, how to acquire them, and how university organizations can foster the expertise of university staff.
