The Future of University Staff Creating New Value: Breaking Away from Routine Work
Amid various environmental changes such as the decline in the 18-year-old population, a decrease in government subsidies, and the coronavirus pandemic, university management is becoming increasingly severe. On the other hand, expectations for the role of universities in a knowledge-based society are increasing and becoming more complex. These changes are not uniform or have answers, and it is important for each university to think about and implement solutions. University staff play an important role in this process. We will consider what roles are required of university staff who will support universities in the future, and how they will fulfill them.
