Business Overview
In a situation where the environment surrounding universities is changing rapidly, the management and operation of universities has come to occupy an important position, and the role of university staff is becoming extremely important. In order to adapt to such an environment, we are developing a variety of projects to improve the qualifications of university staff, including management and education and research support.
The Joint Training Program for University Staff is a joint project aimed at improving the abilities of staff and improving the efficiency and sophistication of university operations, as well as reducing costs for each member university by taking advantage of economies of scale.

■ Complaint handling
Students, parents, local residents, and others have received a variety of complaints, and the content of the complaints is wide-ranging, and careful response is required. This time, we will invite a practicing lawyer as a lecturer to learn how to deal with complaints based on the types of complaints and cases, and through discussions among the participants, we aim to learn basic knowledge about complaints, including legal perspectives, and make use of them in practice.

■ IR practiced by university staff (introductory edition)
[Morning Session]
In recent years, IR has been attracting attention at universities, and the ability to collect and analyze information has become an indispensable skill for university staff. This is an introductory course, and we aim to learn the basics of IR by confirming the basic matters of IR, how to launch IR operations, how to recognize IR within the university, collaborative cooperation, and the relationship between internal quality assurance, which is the most important thing now.
[Afternoon Session]
Using BI tools (Microsoft Power BI Desktop) that are actually used for statistics and analysis, students learn how to manipulate specific data and experience some of the IR operations.

■Basic knowledge of university faculty and staff
In the course of a series of educational policies→ including the promotion of governance reform → the qualitative transformation report→ the establishment of three policies→ the connection between high school and university, university staff were positioned as leaders of reform, and for this reason, the implementation of SD for the purpose of improving the abilities of staff was obliged. Against this backdrop, we aim to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for university staff and to improve their abilities and qualities.
