【For University Faculty and Staff】2024 SD Joint Training Program
Applications for “Decline in the Working Population and DEI (Diversity Equity and Inclusion)” are now open.

According to the Labour Force Survey for FY4 Reiwa, the labor force population (the total number of employed and unemployed people among the population aged 15 and over) decreased by 50,000 from the previous year. In this era of declining birthrates and aging populations, securing workers is an urgent issue for our organization. On the other hand, the diversity of labor supply sides, including the elderly and foreigners, is expanding, and it can be said that we are in an era where the creation of innovation through this is remarkable.
Against this backdrop, I think it is important for us university staff to have a broad perspective on the use of new human resources and to have the perspective of developing human resources that will lead to innovation.
A diversity perspective is indispensable for unprecedented university management. Let’s learn the basic concept of DEI in this course so that universities can develop further in 10 or 20 years.
