Kyoto City Campus Cultural Partners Program

Business Overview

Only students in Kyoto can enter cultural facilities such as the zoo, Nijo Castle, and art museums for 100 yen.

Kyoto City has established the “Kyoto City Campus Cultural Partners System” since the 22nd academic year in order to deepen students’ understanding of culture and the arts and enrich their student life by providing them with an environment where they can become familiar with culture and art, and by providing opportunities to build points of contact with the local community through participation in cultural and artistic activities.

If you are a student of a university or junior college that is a member of the University Consortium Kyoto, you can receive preferential treatment such as discounts at each cultural facility through the admission procedure (free of charge) by individual students, and if you wish, you can receive a wide range of cultural and artistic information about Kyoto City.

We hope that students attending universities in Kyoto will take this opportunity to enroll in this program and experience the diverse culture and arts that Kyoto City is proud of.
