FY 2012

Outline of the event

Since 2005, the Interchange Conference on Universities and Graduate Schools in the Department of Policy Science has been held as a place for research and exchange between students and graduate students who are conducting research to identify and solve problems and issues faced by cities, as well as a place to disseminate their findings to society. The purpose of this program is not only to present the results of daily research, but also to deepen research by interacting with each other and disseminating it to society.

Contents
(1) Oral presentation
Presenters will present their research in each subcommittee. Join the breakout sessions that interest you and listen to the students’ presentations.
(2) Panel Presentation
This is a research presentation in which each presenter posts their research results on a panel.
(3) Student Projects

substance We will consider solutions to bullying, which has emerged as a serious social problem, from the perspective of the local community. The goal is not to derive the “right answer” to the “problem”, but to reconsider one’s own thoughts and actions with reference to the opinions and knowledge of others.

Implementation Report

The 8th Conference on Strategic Studies at Universities and Graduate Schools

Prior to the 8th Conference on Graduate and Governance Studies (held on December 2), a pre-presenter exchange meeting was held.

This event was held for the first time this year with the aim of maintaining motivation for presentations and deepening the connection between presenters by providing them with opportunities to interact with each other in advance.

On the day of the event, a total of 76 presentations (46 oral presentations, 18 panel presentations, and 12 administrative exhibitions) were presented, and many participants listened attentively to research presentations in various fields related to urban policy by undergraduate and graduate students. In addition, the Research Encouragement Award was awarded at the award ceremony for outstanding presentations.
