“2019 High School and University Collaboration Future Session” was held!

On Sunday, September 22, 2019, we held the Future Session at Campus Plaza Kyoto, and on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Fukuchiyama Public University.
The Future Session, now in its fourth year, is a career education program that aims to promote the career development of high school and university students, and to engage in dialogue and exchange across generations, including high school students, university students, and working adults.
This year, the event was held at two venues, one in Kyoto and the other in the northern part of Kyoto Prefecture, with 26 high school and university students attending the event in the northern part of Kyoto Prefecture.

This time, we invited Mr. Noriaki Imai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the certified NPO D×P at the venue in Kyoto City, and Mr. Atsushi Tamura, CEO of Tsunagum Co., Ltd., at the venue in the northern part of Kyoto Prefecture. Under the theme of “What kind of work will be needed in society in the future?”, the two of them looked back on their high school and university days, and talked about the changes in their thinking, realizations, and triggers that led them to the present.
After listening to the guest lecture for one hour, each group shared their impressions and made up questions for the guests. Both guests carefully answered each question from each group.
After that, as a group work, we held a World Café and deepened our thoughts on work by sharing opinions from other groups on the theme of this year’s event, “What kind of work will be needed in society in the future?”

The participants were able to interact with students and university students from other schools that they would not normally meet, and were able to come into contact with various opinions and spend a meaningful time with a lot of awareness and learning.
