Psychology of Consumer Behavior: Aiming for “Self-Understanding” to Protect Consumer Interests

A psychological understanding of consumer behavior is an important topic for companies, and methods based on psychological theories are often used in sales promotion activities. This has led to a number of cases in which consumers have a “misunderstanding” regarding the evaluation of products and services, resulting in disadvantages as a result. In this course, we will explain advertising strategies and in-store sales promotion activities based on the theories of psychology and behavioral economics.
