The University Consortium Kyoto will hold the Kansai Disability Student Support Roundtable (KSSK) as follows, with the aim of exchanging people in charge of disability support services at universities in the Kansai region.

With the enactment of the Act on the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities in April 28, the development of a system to support students with disabilities has become an issue for many universities. In this 16th session, support staff from two universities (national and private) that have developed support systems over the past few years will come and talk about the current situation and issues.

In addition, in the subcommittee, support practices, career support, support systems (guidelines, etc.),4 of Supporting Actual (Role Play)Discussion on the theme of support for students with disabilitiesWe will consider how it should be.

A. Introduction to Support Practice

Regardless of the type of disability or the type of work or experience of the person in charge, this is a subcommittee that discusses the basic practices of supporting students with disabilities.

B. Support System (Guidelines, etc.)

In anticipation of the enforcement of the Act on the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities, this subcommittee discusses support systems, systems, guidelines, etc.

C. Career Support

This is a subcommittee to discuss how to support the job-hunting activities of students with disabilities, collaborate with external parties, and provide study support with an eye on society.

D: Actual Support (Role Play)

This is a breakout session that discusses specific know-how (response methods, ingenuity, etc.) for supporting students with disabilities using role plays.
