Outline of the 17th National University Consortium Research Exchange Forum
The 17th National University Consortium Research Exchange Forum, which was scheduled to be held, was decided to be canceled at the Steering Committee meeting of the National University Consortium Council held on May 9 due to the uncertainty of the containment of the new coronavirus infection and the difficulty of holding it by alternative methods.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to everyone who has been preparing for this forum and those who were considering participating.
The details of the 18th National University Consortium Research Exchange Forum in 2021 will be announced as soon as they are decided.

- “Rethinking and Reviving the University Consortium ~What are the Possibilities of the University Consortium in the Age of University Transformation~”
- Purpose
- The University Consortium, as a university collaboration organization, has been promoting various activities while taking advantage of its characteristics, aiming to solve problems unique to the region and to revitalize and develop the region in collaboration with industry and government. In addition, the government’s “Grand Design for Higher Education for 2040” clearly states that universities are calling for active university reform through regional collaboration platforms.
In such an era of great university transformation, the University Consortium, which is truly a platform for regional collaboration, has entered a new phase, and I would like to reaffirm its value and consider together the possibilities that can be achieved and opened up only by industry-government-academia collaboration. - Date
