On Thursday, March 27, 2025, the Agency for Cultural Affairs, the National Council of University Consortiums, and the University Consortium Kyoto announced the “Agreement on Collaboration between the Agency for Cultural Affairs, the National Council of University Consortiums, and the University Consortium Kyoto with the aim of contributing to the promotion of culture and the arts and regional revitalization in Japan.”was concluded.

The signing ceremony was held at the Agency for Cultural Affairs (Kyoto Government Building) and was signed by Shunichi Tokura, Commissioner of the Agency for Cultural Affairs, and Katsuhiro Ohara, President of Doshisha University, Representative Secretary of the National University Consortium Council and President of the University Consortium Kyoto.
